Marmaris is in the east of Kerme Reşadiye Peninsula and in the south of Ula, west of Balan Mountain, Karadag, and is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea to the south by the Günlük hills. In the front side of the bay there are Adakoy, Bedır Island, Goat Island and Pigeon Island.
Marmaris is also possible to swim outside the summer months due to the humid air. Pine forests of the sea, with a magnificent bays that integrates the four sides of the surrounding National Park, blue-flag beaches and crystal clear waters, Marmaris is one of the important centers of tourism in the Mediterranean and Turkey.
